Bryan Bruns ABA Board of Directors

Bryan Bruns to serve on the American Bankers Association Board of Directors and as the new Community Bankers Council Chair

We are excited to share that Bryan Bruns, Lake Central Bank President and CEO, has been elected to serve a three year term on the American Bankers Association (ABA) Board of Directors.  The ABA is the voice of the nation’s $22.8 trillion banking industry, which is composed of small, regional and large banks. Together, they employ more than 2 million people, safeguard nearly $19 trillion in deposits and extend $11 trillion in loans.  With his election, Bryan joins a handfull of other bankers from across the country who will help lead the ABA from the highest level.

“As a relatively small town community bank president, I am excited to represent Community Banking and am honored to serve our entire industry on a national level.  Having worked closely with my father Dwayne for many years, he taught me the importance of being involved, and led by example.”

Bryan has previously served as the Chair of the Minnesota Bankers Association (MBA) and continues to serve on the MBA Government Relations committee.  In addition, Bryan will chair the ABA’s Community Bankers Council (CBC) for 2022, as well as serve on ABA’s Membership Council.  We appreciate the hard work and dedication Bryan continues to show, not only to Lake Central and the communities we serve, but to the banking industry as a whole!
