Collecting Food Donations
This summer, we invite you to participate in our Give Small & Do BIG campaign supporting our local food shelves. Our campaign begins on July 1 and ends on September 2. Our goal is to gather three full pallets of food goods to share with our local food shelves Prairie Five Community Action and Annandale Food Shelf.
Our Local Food Shelves
Prairie Five Community Action is a private non-profit agency designated as a 501(c)3 by the IRS. Community Action is not part of the state, federal, or county government. Prairie Five employees are not state or federal employees. The Prairie Five board governs the agency and applies to various federal and state organizations and foundations to obtain funding and grants to meet the needs as determined by local communities.
Annandale Food Shelf is dedicated to serving our community by providing a valuable service. The Annandale Food Shelf continues to distribute record amounts of groceries to needy families. This volunteer-run organization serves the Annandale, South Haven, and Maple Lake areas. Make a difference, donate today! Help us continue to serve our community’s needs!

We’ll be handing out Lake Central Give Small & Do BIG! donation bags during all the parades we participate in, or you can pick one up at any of our branches starting July 1.
